Suzanne E. Williams has practiced family law for over 24 years. She has extensive experience in handling complex marital and family law matters, including, dissolution of marriage, paternity, alimony, child support, parental responsibility, timesharing, business valuations, equitable distribution, relocations, domestic partnership agreements, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, contempt and enforcement, modifications, domestic violence and other family law related matters.
Ms. Williams is the firm’s Senior Litigation Attorney. Having previously run her own firm for many years, she has obtained the requisite experience and skills for litigating complex matters. Her experience includes negotiations, depositions, mediations, and trials. She has formed family divisions for other firms as well.
Ms. Williams studied law at the University of Florida, Juris Doctor received in 1996. She interned in all civil matters and all of her clinics were in civil and family law. Her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and Legal Studies at Nova Southeastern University helped pave the way to her innate ability to deal with the emotional stress and toll that divorces and other family law matters take on clients. Ms. Williams obtained her paralegal certificate in 1993 and worked for three years as same. This gives her a unique working knowledge of pleadings and procedure that most attorneys do not have coming out of law school.
Ms. Williams’ experience extends to other areas such as wills, civil disputes and pet trusts.
Ms. Williams has been a pro bono guardian ad litem, a Pride Center Founder, and an Animal Activist/501C3 Not for Profit Animal Rescue Founder and believes in giving back to the community at large.
